What type of metals do you use?At Majere's Metals we currently use copper, colored copper, and stainless steel. For every item used, there is always a benefit or an issue depending on who is asking. I chose copper because of the beauty in the way it holds color and I have always loved the plain copper look. And we use the stainless steel for its durability for those of us that are rough when we play. We will eventually be looking to add titanium based jewelery as an option for the customer as well. We chose not to use aluminum in our process for producing our chains and bracelets. While it is popular, cheaper material cost wise, and easier to work with, the fact that it is linked in some studies to alzheimer's disease removed that as an option for us. As always, if there are any questions, please let us know.

If an item is out of stock, how long will it take for it to be shipped?"The average answer is about 4 weeks to make a piece for you. The actual answer will depend on how many orders I am currently working on to fulfill, if I have the metal in stock or if it needs to be ordered. I will always contact you directly to give you an estimate and communicate with you as I process your piece step by step. We will always try to have a surplus of items in stock but none of these are mass produced and is handmade so time is required to produce it.
